Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde hatte seit 1930 ein Wappen geführt, das den in einem Siegel von 1452 überlieferten, in den Farben frei ergänzten Schild des Fritz von Röt zeigte. Nach der am 1. Januar 1970 erfolgten Eingliederung von Hausen an der Rot, das zuvor ein „redendes" Siegelbild verwendet hatte, setzte die Gemeinde das Ortsadelswappen in die vordere Hälfte eines gespaltenen Schildes, während das Wappen des Klosters beziehungsweise Stiftes Comburg, das nach 1248 neben den Herren von Rot als Mitbesitzer von Hausen an der Rot auftrat, in die hintere Schildhälfte aufgenommen wurde. Am 14. Oktober 1971 hat das Innenministerium dieses Wappen samt der Flagge verliehen.
