Object history
Deutsch: Das Haus ist in der Literatur seit 1844 und in den Gemeindestempeln seit 1903 als „redende" Wappenfigur nachgewiesen. Mit Rücksicht auf zahlreiche andere Wappen mit dieser Figur nahm die Gemeinde im Jahre 1959 auf Anraten der Archivdirektion Stuttgart zusätzlich die drei neippergischen Ringe in ihr Wappen auf. Diese sollen auf die frühere Ortsherrschaft des Hauses Neipperg hinweisen. Gleichzeitig wurden die jetzigen Farben bestimmt. Das Wappen und die Flagge wurden vom Innenministerium am 18. August 1959 verliehen.
