Deutsch: Das Wappen sowie der Name der Stadt Rutesheim gehen zurück auf Ruotmar, der als Gründer und Namensgeber des Ortes gilt (Heim des Ruotmar). Aus dem Namen entwickelte sich im Laufe der Zeit das Bild des Rutenbündels.
