Deutsch: Am 1. Januar 1975 wurde durch Vereinigung von Böhringen, Donnstetten und Zainingen die Gemeinde Römerstein gebildet. In ihrem Wappen soll der Sperber, ein typischer Albvogel, an die Lage des Gemeindegebietes auf der Hochfläche der mittleren Alb erinnern. In Verbindung mit dem vom geschachten Wappen der Herren von Sperberseck abgeleiteten Schildfuß soll diese Figur aber zugleich auf die historischen Beziehungen zu diesem Geschlecht und zu dessen nahe dem namengebenden Römerstein gelegener Stammburg hinweisen. Das Landratsamt Reutlingen hat das Wappen und die Flagge am 24. August 1977 verliehen. |
