Object history |
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde wurde durch Vereinigung von Bubenbach, Eisenbach und Oberbränd zum 1. November 1972 gebildet und durch Eingemeindung von Schollach am 1. Januar 1975 erweitert. Eisenbach und Schollach gehörten bis 1806 zur fürstenbergischen Landgrafschaft Baar, Bubenbach und Oberbränd sind Rodungssiedlungen auf der weitläufigen Bräunlinger Mark und wurden erst 1846 selbstständige Gemeinden. Das Wappen, das vom Generallandesarchiv entworfen, vom Gemeinderat am 18. November 1976 angenommen und zusammen mit der Flagge vom Landratsamt Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald am 12. Juli 1977 verliehen worden ist, nimmt auf diese historischen Herrschaftsverhältnisse Bezug. Der Wolkenbord ist dem fürstenbergischen Wappen entnommen und war bisher schon in den Wappen von Eisenbach und Schollach vertreten, der Löwenrumpf ist als „pars pro toto" dem Bräunlinger Stadtwappen (In Gold ein roter Löwe) entlehnt, dessen Tingierung auch für das innere Wappenfeld Pate stand. |
