Deutsch: Wappen des Saargebietes von 1920 bis 1935
„Geviert;
links oben: ein silbernes Zugrad mit gekreuzten Schlägeln im schwarzen Feld;
rechts oben: eine rote Rose im silbernen Feld;
links unten: eine aufgehende goldene Sonne über blauen Wolken im silbernen Feld;
rechts unten: ein silberner Löwen mit vier Kreuzen im blauen Feld.“
Verordnung betr. das Wappen des Saargebiets vom 28. Juli 1920 (Amtsbl. Reg.Kom. S. 43)
Dieses Wappen stellt ein ehemaliges Landeswappen dar, erlassen durch Verordnung der Regierungskommission für das „Saarbeckengebiet“ vom 28. Juli 1920. Die zugehörige staatliche Einheit, das „Saarbeckengebiet“, geschaffen durch den Versailler Vertrag 1919, wurde am 1. März 1935 aufgelöst und dem Deutschen Reich angegliedert. Der offizielle Status des Wappens ist somit erloschen.
