Object history
Deutsch: Die betende, goldene Madonna stilisiert nach Vorbild der betenden Grottenmadonna, welche im ehemaligen Steinbruch am Ortsrand von Heilberscheid, der Mariengrotte, zu finden ist. In der unteren Hälfte ist die Vorderansicht der Heilberscheider Marienkirche zu sehen. Die Hainbuchenzweige verweisen auf die großen Bestände von Hainbuchen in unserem Wald. Die Farben im Hintergrund, rot und silber, sind die Wappenfarben von Kurtrier, da Heilerscheid bis zum Jahre 1802 zum Kurtrierischen Amtes Montabaur gehörte.
