«Флаг городского поселения Красноярское Жирновского муниципального района Волгоградской области представляет собой: прямоугольное полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящее композицию Герба городского поселения в цветах: красный, чёрный, зелёный, жёлтый».

Описание герба: «В золотом поле с узким чёрным поясом на котором покоятся два выходящих из сторон червлёных откосых берега сопровождаемые вверху червлёным пламенем, внизу четыре червлёные ягоды вишни на черенках с зелёным листом каждая, уложенная в ромбовидную рамку».
