editDescriptionKleber French cruiser.jpg | The French Dupleix-class cruiser Kleber in the U.S. before the First World War. Commissioned in 1903 she stranded off Gallipoli, Turkey, on 29-31 May 1915, but was refloated. On 7 July she then collided with a British cargo ship but was repaired. On 27 June 1917 she struck a mine laid by the German submarine U 61 off Brest, France, and sank with the loss of 42 crew. | ||||
