Deutsch: Die Zweite Jarmukbrücke (arab. Dschisr al-Ḥammah جسر الحمة) der Jesreʾeltalbahn, eine der 15 Brücken dieser Bahnstrecke über den Fluss Jarmuk, eine Ruine seit der Nacht der Brücken (16./17. Juni 1946), als die elf Brücken sprengte, die Mandats-Palästina mit den Nachbarländern Ägypten, Transjordanien, dem Libanon und Syrien verbanden.

English: The Second Yarmouk Railway Bridge ruins (Arab. Jisr al-Ḥammah جسر الحمة) over the Yarmouk River — destroyed in the Jewish Night of the Bridges operation.
  • Operation Markolet (known as Night of the Bridges) was a Haganah venture on the nights of 16th & 17th of June 1946, in the British Mandate of Palestine. Its aim was to destroy eleven bridges linking Mandated Palestine to the neighboring countries of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt, in order to immobilize its transportation.
