Description
Українська: Знищення древлянської столиці Іскоростеня за наказом княгині Ольги. Опис події за 946 рік в Повісті временних літ: «Ольга ж кожному із воїв по голубу роздавала, в іншим — по горобцю. І звеліла кожному голубові і горобцю чір прив’язати в в шматки тканини огортати, в ниткою голубам і горобцям в’язати. І як смеркло, Ольга своїм воям повеліла голубів і горобців пустити. Голуби ж і горобці в свої гнізда полетіли: Одні в голубники свої, горобці ж — під стріхи. І так загорілись голубники, і від них спалахнули кліті і одрини, і не було двору, де б не горіло, і не можна було гасити, бо усі двори загорілися. І побігли люди із города, і звеліла Ольга воям своїм хапати їх. І коли взяла город — спалила його, і старійшин же города спалила, і інших людей тих перебила, а інших в рабство мужам своїм віддала».
