English: Faraoh Akhenaten in a pillar of remains of Aton temple in Karnak. Actually in Egyptian Museum, in Cairo, Egypt
Español: Pilar de arenisca del templo de Atón en Karnak; donde aparece el faraón Ajenatón adornado con las plumas del dios Shu sobre el nemes o tocado de tela rayada. En la frente lleva la cobra ureo y, sobre el pecho, los dos cetros cruzados: heqat (cayado) y nejej (flagelo). Sus rasgos son los típicos del periodo amarniense: aspecto andrógino, ojos rasgados y almendrados, labios carnosos y formas suaves. Se conserva en el Museo Egipcio de El Cairo. XVIII dinastía (cc. 1377 adC-1358 adC)
Français : Akhenaton, XVIIIe dynastie. Pilier de grès du temple d'Aton à Karnak, où le pharaon Amenhotep IV Akhenaton apparaît orné des plumes du dieu Shou sur le némès, sa coiffe au tissu rayé. Plusieurs attributs sont clairement identifiables: sur son front, le cobra uræus, et sur sa poitrine, les deux sceptres croisés, le sceptre héqa (à crosse) et nekhekh (fléau). Ses traits sont typiques de la période amarnienne: aspect androgyne, yeux en amande et inclinés, lèvres pleines et formes douces. Musée égyptien du Caire.(cc.1377 adC-1358 adC) |
