Karoga apraksts
  1. Jelgavas novada karogs (1.pielikums) ir taisnstūra audums ar platuma un augstuma attiecību 2:1;
  2. Karogs ir divpusējs;
  3. Karogs ir ar divām joslām: augšējā — balta, apakšējā — zelta, simbolizējot novada tradicionālo zemkopības kultūru;
  4. Joslu attiecības 1:1;
  5. Karoga centrā novietots Jelgavas novada ģerbonis, kura augstums ir 3/5 no karoga platuma.[1]
