"ARTICULO 2. ADOPTESE COMO BANDERA OFICIAL DEL MUNICIPIO DE TOLEDO ANTIOQUIA LA CONFORMADA POR LAS FRANJAS HORIZONTALES E IGUALES. LA PRIMERA FRANJA O SUPERIOR, ES DE COLOR VERDE, Y REPRESENTA NUESTRAS MONTAÑAS EN DONDE SE ENCUENTRA SITUADO EL MUNICIPIO, COMO TAMBIEN LA ESPERANZA DE UN BELLO PORVENIR PARA TOLEDO. SEGUNDA FRANJA O INFERIOR ES DE COLOR ROJO Y NOS RECUERDA EL AMOR QUE DEBEMOS TENER A NUESTRO PUEBLO, COMO RECUERDO DE LA SANGRE QUE DERRAMARON NUESTROS INDIOS EN COMBATES CON LOS ESPAÑOLES EN EL BELLO VALLE DE GUARCAMA."
