Description
Français : Église Saint-Pierre de Tabaux. L’église Saint Pierre de Tabaux est située 2kms au dessus du village de Caillavet. Elle est dans l’enceinte du cimetière, protégée par d’immenses cyprès. Elle date pour partie de l’époque romane (le clocher-mur- porte latérale), l’abside date du 17ème siècle. Elle est inscrite aux Monuments Historiques comme patrimoine architectural.
English: The Church of Saint Pierre de Tabaux is located 2 km above the village of Caillavet. It is within the cemetery grounds, protected by huge cypress trees. It dates partly from the Romanesque period (the bell tower-wall, the side door), the apse dates from the 17th century. It is listed as an historic monument as an architectural heritage.
This building is indexed in the base Mérimée, a database of architectural heritage maintained by the French Ministry of Culture, under the reference PA00094754 .
