Description
English: Khachkar (VI c.) from church of Saint Cross.
Русский: Хачкар (VI в.). В верхней части Хачкара - розетка с декоративным орнаментом, символизирующим солнце - это знак вечности. Внизу - крупный крест. Этот камень выполнен в эпоху раннего христианства в Армении. Вывезен из г. Ани на полуостров Крым. Находился в монастыре Сурб Хач города Старый Крым. В XVIII в. перевезен переселившимися из Крыма на Дон армянами в Новый Нахичеван. [1]
