Русский: Союз Советских Социалистических Республик (СССР); Рабоче-крестьянская Красная Армия (РККА); знаки различия личного состава в сухопутных силах на основе приказа РевВоенСовета (РВС) СССР № 116 от 16 января 1919 года, здесь маленкие петлицы на гимнастёрках, несённый с1919 до 1924г.:

1 – Oтделённый командир, командир отделения (комот)
2 – Помощник командира взвода (помкомвзвода)
3 – Старшина … / (сотник козак), … роты, … батареи, , … команды, … эскадрона (cтаршина)
4– Командир взвода (комвзвода)
5 – Командир роты / командир эскадрона (комроты / комэск)
6 – Командир батальона (комбат)
7 – Командир полка (комполка)
8 – Командир бригады (должность) (комбриг)
9 – Начальник дивизии (должность) (начдив)
10 – Командующий армией (командарм)

11 – Командующий фронтом (комфронта).
