English: Celestial blue a square flag quarterly divided into white and red. The flag has to embattled edges and is stuck upon a golden jousting lance. The flag is topped by an impending golden coronet.

Deutsch: Die Figuren des Schildes sind den Flaggen der ehemaligen Städte Lauda (Flagge auf Lanze) und Königshofen (Krone) entnommen. Die Flagge ist die der Stadt und des Bistums Würzburg. Die Bischöfe waren seit Jahrhunderten die ehemaligen Herrscher in Lauda. Die Krone wurde vom gekrönten Haupt in der Flagge von Königshofen entnommen.
English: The elements of the shield are taken from the flags of the former cities of Lauda (flag on lance) and Königshofen (coronet). The flag is those of the city and bishopric of Würzburg. The bishops had been the former rulers for centuries in Lauda. The coronet is a reduction of the crowned head in the flag of Königshofen.
