Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde liegt auf der waldreichen Winterhauch-Hochfläche im Odenwald mit dem Katzenbuckel, der höchsten Erhebung des Gebirges, im Nordwesten der Gemarkung. Sie besteht aus Mülben, Oberdielbach, Schollbrunn, Strümpfelbrunn, Waldkatzenbach und Weisbach, die sich 1973 zusammenschlossen (Mülben 1975) und den auf ihre Lage anspielenden neuen Gemeindenamen wählten. Das Wappen, das in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Generallandesarchiv geschaffen wurde, bezieht sich mit der stilisierten Tanne und der Brunnenschale „redend" auf Namen und Lage des Erholungsortes. Die sechs Zähne der Spitze können außerdem als Hinweis auf die sechs Ortsteile verstanden werden. Wappen und Flagge wurden am 10. November 1976 vom Landratsamt verliehen.
