Object history
Deutsch: Die am 1. Januar 1975 durch Vereinigung von Dalkingen und Schwabsberg gebildete Gemeinde übernahm das Schildbild der Herren von Schwabsberg, die im 14. und 15. Jahrhundert auch Dalkingen als ellwangisches Lehen innehatten. Im Gegensatz zu dem Adelswappen führt die Gemeinde den goldenen Löwen und die silberne Hirschstange jedoch auf rotem, statt auf dem blauen Schildgrund. Somit enthält das jetzige Gemeindewappen zwei Figuren aus dem ehemaligen Schwabsberger und zwei Farben aus dem ehemaligen Dalkinger Wappen. Die Verleihung des Wappens und der Flagge erfolgte am 9. September 1975 durch das Innenministerium.
