Object history
Deutsch: Die Gemeinde entstand 1973/75 durch Zusammenschluss und Eingemeindung von Auerbach, Dallau, Muckental, Neckarburken und Rittersbach. Sie führt das 1913 nach dem aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammenden Gerichtssiegel gestaltete Wappen von Dallau weiter. Es wurde zusammen mit der Flagge am 20. Januar 1975 vom Innenministerium neu verliehen und zeigt den Heiligen Michael, wohl als Symbol der Gerechtigkeit. Im Schildchen werden die historischen Herrschaftsverhältnisse versinnbildlicht: Alle Ortsteile gehörten bis 1803 zur Kurpfalz (Rauten), in Auerbach, Dallau und Rittersbach besaß der Deutsche Orden bis 1668 einen Teil der Ortsherrschaft.
