Object history
Deutsch: Der Entenfuß ist seit dem 19. Jahrhundert als Fleckenzeichen belegt. Die Gemeindesiegel zeigten ihn damals bereits im Wappenschild. Um Verwechslungen auszuschließen, entsprach die Gemeinde einer Empfehlung der Archivdirektion Stuttgart vom Jahre 1930, indem sie die auf Marksteinen erscheinende dreilatzige Fahne zusätzlich in ihr Wappen aufnahm. Diese Wappenfigur der Pfalzgrafen von Tübingen war auch im Wappen des in Deizisau sehr begüterten Esslinger Spitals enthalten gewesen. Am 12. September 1955 verlieh die Landesregierung die Flagge.
