Deutsch: Lichtensteig ist eine Stadt und eine politische Gemeinde im Kanton St. Gallen (Schweiz). Die Gemeinde hat eine mittelalterliche Altstadt ("Städtli"). Die ältesten Häuser, die auch Teil der Stadtmauer sind, werden auf die erste Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts datiert.
