Lauffen, Amtshaus des Klosterhofmeisters, Zeichner unbekannt, um 1840. Hier wohnte Hölderlin in seinen ersten beiden Lebensjahren (1770 bis 1772). Möglicherweise war es auch sein Geburtshaus.

Description

Amtshaus des Klosterhofmeisters des Klosters Lauffen (es wurde 1918 zugunsten eines Neubaus abgerissen). Man hielt es früher für Hölderlins Geburtshaus (https://www.lauffen.de/website/de/tourismus/lauffen_erleben/historischer-stadtrundgang/hoelderlin-denkmal). Weil Hölderlins Vater Klosterhofmeister war und sich seine Amtswohnung in dem Amtshaus befand, wohnte er hier bis zu seinem Tod 1772 mit seiner Frau. Der Sohn Friedrich, 1770 geboren, lebte hier zwei Jahre lang bis zum Tod des Vaters (https://www.zeit.de/news/2020-03/18/wo-hoelderlin-die-treppe-hinunterrutschte).

Möglicherweise wurde Hölderlin aber nicht im Amtshaus geboren, sondern ganz in der Nähe in dem privaten Wohnhaus der Familie Hölderlin, wo zur Zeit seiner Geburt seine beiden Tanten wohnten, denn bei der Geburt durften nur Frauen anwesend sein. In diesem privaten Wohnhaus lebte Hölderlins Mutter jedenfalls als Witwe mit ihren Kindern und mit Hölderlins Tanten von 1772 bis 1774. Heute wird dieses private Hölderlin-Haus, das "Hölderlinhaus" in Lauffen, oft als Hölderlins Geburtshaus angesehen (https://www.zeit.de/news/2020-03/18/wo-hoelderlin-die-treppe-hinunterrutschte, beachte auch "Hölderlins Geburtshaus" in der Überschrift).
