Deutsch: Die Vierteilung erinnert daran, dass Bellmund einer der 12 "Viertel" des Landgerichts Nidau war. Die Sonne nimmt bezug auf den Namen, der angeblich von einem keltischen Sonnengott namens Belenus herkommt.Der Krummstab weist darauf hin, dass Bellmund im 12. Jahrhundert Sitz eines Cluniazenpriorates war.
