English: The Elbe at german river kilometre 505 (Dömitz).
Deutsch: Abendstimmung an der Elbe beim deutschen Fluss-KM 505,5 (Höhe Dömitz) nach einem kühlen, klaren Oktobertag, vom rechten Ufer flussaufwärts gesehen. Im Hintergrund die Ruine der alten Eisenbahnbrücke. Der vertrocknete Strunk im Vordergrund stammt von der Pflanze „Katzenschwanz“ (Leonurus marrubiastrum).
