Object history
Français : Le village de Mex fut au Moyen Age propriété d'une famille de chevaliers qui apparaît dès le XIIe siècle. Pendant longtemps, les chevaliers de Mex furent vassaux des barons de Cossonay pour la maison forte de l'endroit et ils prêtaient un hommage lige. Les nobles de Mex s'éteignirent au commencement du XVe siècle. Les armoiries que leur a attribuées l'armorial Ropraz de 1698 ont été relevées par la commune en 1919.
