Object history Die vormaligen acht Gemeinden Bilten, Filzbach, Mollis, Mühlehorn, Näfels, Niederurnen, Oberurnen und Obstalden fusionierten im Jahr 2011 unter dem Namen Glarus Nord. Das Wappen zeigt den Fluss Linth, beseitet von je vier Sternen, welche die Anzahl der ehemaligen Gemeinden darstellen.
