Deutsch: Das mit Gemeinderatsbeschluss vom 12. Dezember 1934 und durch Gemeindeabstimmung vom 22. Februar 1935 genehmigte Wappen wurde von Paul Ganz, Kunsthistoriker an der Universität Basel und von Friedrich Pieth, Geschichtslehrer an der Kantonsschule Chur, entworfen. Der Zweiberg symbolisiert die Höhenlage der Berggemeinde sowie den Bergbau zwischen dem 14. und 15. Jahrhundert. Die Farben Blau und Gold weisen auf die frühere Zugehörigkeit zum Zehngerichtebund hin. Die goldene Sonne auf blauen Grund steht auch für die Gemeinde als Ferienort. |
