In der ersten sozialistischen Stadt der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik In Fürstenberg an der Oder entsteht eine neue Wohnstadt für die Arbeiter des Eisenhüttenkombinats Ost. Für die schnellere Errichtung hat das Ministerium für Aufbau eine kleine neuer Massnahmen getroffen, nachdem die Werktätigen auf einer Produktionsbesprechung scharfe Kritik an dem langsamen Aufbau der Wohnstadt übten. Der neue Sonderbeauftragte, Koll. Ehlers , erklärte, dass es sein Ziel sei, in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Bauarbeitern und der Technischen Intelligenz die im Plan für 1952 vorgesehenen 903 Wohnungen trotz der vorhandenen Schwierigkeiten und Planrückstände bis Ende des Jahres fertigzustellen. - Eine zweite Hauptaufgabe nannte Koll.
