Norsk nynorsk: Kommunevåpen for Ringerike i Buskerud fylke, godkjent ved kongeleg resolusjon 16. juni 1967.
Motiv: På rød bunn en gull ring.[1] Gullringar, særleg armringar, var teikn på kongevørdnad og høvdingmakt i norsk sagatid, og var ofte gåve til kongelege medlemmer. Sagaen om den norske kongeætta er knytt til Ringerike. Ringar står for makt, rikdom og lykke. I heilag symbolikk blir ringen og sirkelen med sin reine geometriske form ofte knytt til noko fullkoment og evig.
