Summary
editDescriptionMedias Berliet trolleybus 659, ex-Lyon 2822.jpg |
English: Mediaş, Romania, trolleybus 659 is a 1977 Berliet ER100R built for the Lyon trolleybus system (in France), and originally numbered 1906 there. It was given a modernized front end (and renumbered 2822) during refurbishment in Lyon in 1994/95. Mediaş acquired it in 2004, along with several other ex-Lyon Berliet trolleybuses, and renumbered it 659. However, even in this 2007 photo, it is still showing its Lyon fleet number (in addition to its Mediaş number) and wearing its Lyon livery, but it now has a permanent sign with the name of the Mediaş operator, Meditur, in its signbox. The trolleybus is shown in service on route T2. |
