DescriptionMaria Temryukovna's ring.jpg	Перстень-печать царицы Марии Темрюковны. Россия. 1560-1569. До революции он хранился в собрании Оружейной палаты, а ныне находится в коллекции Государственного исторического музея. Перстень использовался в качестве печати - известна его прорисовка, сделанная для книги А.Б. Лакиера «Русская геральдика». Следует заметить, что эта прорисовка, часто воспроизводящаяся в различных изданиях, неточна. Щиток перстня имеет неправильную, яйцевидную форму. На внешней стороне ободка сохранились остатки орнамента. В центре на щитке перстня помещено изображение двуглавого орла. Этот орел в целом подобен орлам конца XV - первой половины XVI в., в том числе и орлу с блюда. Крылья орла раскрыты, но опущены, клювы приоткрыты, но языков (в отличие от прорисовки Лакиера) не видно. Четко обозначен хвост орла, состоящий из пяти перьев. Лапы орла довольно крупные, пальцы растопырены, на каждой лапе по четыре пальца, короны на головах орла лишь обозначены небольшими треугольниками. Сам размер вещи, конечно же, не позволял резчику передать все детали, но некоторые элементы получились весьма выразительными. Вокруг центрального изображения идет легенда: наверху точка, затем: «црцi и великiи кнгнi Марьi печать» (некоторые буквы соединены лигатурами, буква «в» написана, как в позднем полууставе). Вообще надпись производит впечатление более архаичной по стилю графики, нежели надпись на блюде, что объясняется, по-видимому, особенностями того материала, с которым приходилось иметь дело мастерам. Изображение орла, как видим, также отличается от его официального сфрагистического варианта, но соответствует упрощенному варианту предметов декоративно-прикладного характера.
