Object history

Das Gefäß des vorderen Schildteils erinnert an den bedeutenden Fund eines 38,5 cm hohen Kruges in einem Grab in Schauren aus der Spätlatenezeit (1.Jahrh. v. Chr.).

Der hintere Schildteil verweist auf die ehemalige Zugehörigkeit zur Wild- und Rheingrafschaft.
