DescriptionRhea map 2011 PIA12821.jpg	English: This global digital map of Rhea was created using data taken during Cassini and Voyager spacecraft flybys. The map is an equidistant projection and has a scale of 417 meters (1,370 feet) per pixel in the full size version. The mean radius of Rhea used for projection of this map is 764.1 kilometers (474.8 miles). This map is an update to the version released in February 2010 (see PIA12561). This map contains data from Cassini's Jan. 11, 2011, flyby of Rhea. This map was created using primarily Cassini images. Six Voyager images fill gaps in Cassini's coverage of the north pole. The Cassini Solstice Mission is a joint United States and European endeavor. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, manages the mission for NASA's Science Mission Directorate, Washington, D.C. The Cassini orbiter was designed, developed and assembled at JPL. The imaging team consists of scientists from the US, England, France, and Germany. The imaging operations center and team lead (Dr. C. Porco) are based at the Space Science Institute in Boulder, Colo.
