Object history
Deutsch: Der grüne Kleeblattschnitt im Schildhaupt symbolisiert die überwiegend landwirtschaftliche Erwerbsstruktur. Vor allem die Viehhaltung spielt eine große Rolle in Obersöchering. Der Schlüssel, Attribut des heiligen Petrus, verweist auf das Patrozinium der Pfarrkirche St. Peter und Paul in Obersöchering. In den Schlüssel ist eine heraldische Lilie eingearbeitet, die sich als Mariensymbol auf die Frauenkirche, die ursprüngliche Pfarrkirche von Obersöchering (bis 1803), bezieht. Der Palmzweig, ein Märtyrerattribut, steht für die Margarethenkirche in Untersöchering.
