Selat Hormuz
Selat Hormuz (basa Pérsia: تَنگِه هُرمُز Tangeh-ye Hormoz, Basa Arab: مَضيق هُرمُز Maḍīq Hurmuz) nyaéta hiji selat antara Teluk Oman jeung Teluk Pérsia. Selat Hormuz mangrupa sahiji-hijina jalan laut ti Teluk Pérsia ka samudra kabuka. Di kaléreunana aya Iran, sarta di kiduleunana aya Uni Émirat Arab jeung Musandam, wewengkon éksklave Oman. Lébar selat ieu nu pangleutikna nyaéta kira-kira 21 nautical miles (39 km).[1] Kirang langkungna 20% ti kandungan minyak bumi dunya, sarta 35% minyak bumi nu dijual liwat laut, ngaliwatan selat ieu, nyieun Selat Hormuz salaku lokasi nu strategis pikeun perdagangan internasional.[1]
