Vinnie Moore soittamassa akustista kitaraa vuonna 2015.

Moore aloitti kitaransoiton 12-vuotiaana. Hänen ensimmäisiä esikuviaan olivat Jeff Beck, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple ja Queen.[1]

Hän soittaa metalliyhtye Vicious Rumorsin ensimmäisellä levyllä Soldiers of the Night. Tämän jälkeen hän on kiertänyt Alice Cooperin kanssa ja soittaa joitakin kappaleita tämän Hey, Stoopid! levyllä. Ennen liittymistään yhtyeeseen UFO: n vuonna 2003, hän ennätti tekemään soolouraa pari vuosikymmentä. Hän on työskennellyt myös muun muassa Peter Framptonin ja Tony MacAlpinen kanssa. [2][3][4]
