Somaattinen hermosto
Somaattinen hermosto eli tahdonalainen hermosto on ääreishermoston osa. Se koostuu efferenteistä motoneuroneista, jotka hermottavat luurankolihaksia, sekä afferenteista sensorisista neuroneista. Efferentit neuronit vievät supistumiskäskyn keskushermostosta lihaksille. Afferentit neuronit tuovat tietoa keskushermostoon aistinreseptoreilta.
