Raja Ram
Raja Ram (oik. Ronald Rothfield, s. 18. joulukuuta 1941, Melbourne, Australia) on muusikko ja englantilaisen TIP World -levy-yhtiön omistaja. Raja Ram syntyi 1941 Melbournessa Australiassa. Nuoruudessaan hän vietti hippielämää ulkomailla ja palasi myöhemmin opiskelemaan huilunsoittoa Melbournen konservatorioon. 1960-luvulla hän matkusti New Yorkiin opiskelemaan jazzia. Hän soitti progressiivista rockia, jazzia ja intialaisia vaikutteita yhdistelleessä Quintessence-yhtyeessä 1960-luvun lopulla ja 1970-luvun alkupuolella, mutta henkilökohtaisista syistä joutui jättämään yhtyeen.
Jätettyään musiikin Raja Ram toimi liikemiehenä kunnes 1980-luvulla kiinnostui jälleen musiikista, erityisesti siihen aikaan suosiotaan kasvattaneesta elektronisesta musiikista. Hän oli yksi ensimmäisistä psytrance-genren luojista. Raja Ram perusti yhdessä Graham Woodin ja Ian St. Paulin kanssa TIP Records -levy-yhtiön vuonna 1994, josta tuli pian yksi tunnetuimmista goa tranceen keskittyneistä levymerkeistä. Vuoden Tip Recordsin lopettamisen jälkeen 1999 Raja Ram perusti Tip World -levy-yhtiön.
Shpongle on yksi tämän hetken tunnetuimmista Raja Ramin musiikkiprojekteista. Hän on myös yksi 1200 Micrograms -yhtyeen perustajajäsenistä. Hän soittaa usein huilua ambient-kappaleissa.
