Pikaluistelun Euroopan-mestaruuskilpailut
Pikaluistelun Euroopan-mestaruuskilpailut järjestettiin miehillä ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 1891, naisilla 1970. Yleisluistelun Euroopan mestaruus ratkaistaan neljän matkan yhteispisteiden perusteella. Miesten matkoina ovat 500, 1 500, 5 000 ja 10 000 metriä, naisilla puolestaan 500, 1 500, 3 000 ja 5 000 metriä. Vuosina 1894 ja 1903 mestaruus jäi virallisesti ratkaisematta, koska kukaan kilpailijoista ei saavuttanut kolmea matkavoittoa, joka tuohon aikaan mestaruuteen vaadittiin.
Sprinttimatkoilla kilpailtiin Euroopan-mestaruudesta ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 2017. Sprinttimestaruus ratkaistaan kahden 500 metrin ja kahden 1 000 metrin luistelun yhteispisteillä. Vuonna 2018 järjestettiin ensimmäisen kerran matkakohtaiset EM-kilpailut[1]. Yleisluistelun sekä sprinttiluistelun EM-kilpailut ja matkakohtaiset EM-kilpailut järjestetään vuorovuosin[2].
