James Murphy (kitaristi)
James Franklin Murphy (s. 30. heinäkuuta 1967) on yhdysvaltalainen metallikitaristi, joka on soittanut monissa yhtyeissä, kuten Cancerissa, Deathissä, Obituaryssa ja Testamentissa. Murphy on tehnyt myös muutamia soololevytyksiä. Murphy on perustanut death metal -yhtye Disincarnaten, joka julkaisi yhden albumin vuonna 1993. Murphy on kertonut, että Disincarnatella on suunnitteilla myös toinen albumi, jonka julkaisun ajankohdasta ei ole vielä tietoa. Murphyllä todettiin vuonna 2001 aivokasvain, mutta hän on parantunut sairaudestaan täysin.
