Lactobacillus casei

Lactobacillus casei Lactobacillus generoko bakterioa da, gure mikrobiotaren partaidea dena (hesteetan dago). Bakterio laktikoen taldean sailkatzen da, hots, glukosa hartzitzen du azido laktikoa sortuz. Hartzidura laktiko horrek garrantzia handia du zenbait industri-prozesutan, jogurgintzan eta gaztagintzan, esaterako (Lactobacillus casei jogurt eta gazta askotan dago, beste mikrobioekin batera).

Probiotiko naturaletan (jogurt, Yakult...) ez ezik, probiotiko artifizial (pilulak) askotan ere erabiltzen den mikrobioa da Lactobacillus casei, bere ustezko osasun-onurak direla eta. Hauen artean, honako hauek dira aipagarrienak:

  • Lactobacillus casei shirotak "in vitro" saioetan Helicobacter pylori bakterio patogenoaren hazkuntza inhibitzen du [2], "in vivo" saioetan emaitzak hain garbiak izan ez badira ere
  • bakteriar translokazioa ekiditen du, oso onuragarria dena gaitz batzuen ondorio gaiztoak (pankreatitis batena, adibidez) prebenitzeko. [4]
  • Lactobacillus casei shirota kolangitis esklerosatzaile primarioa tratatzeko erabili da kasu batean arrakasta handiz [7]

Actimel markak Lactobacillus casei-ren andui berezi bat (DN-114001, immunitas izenekoa) erabiltzen du, immunitate-sistema sendotzen omen duena.
