Cymothoidae

Cymothoidae Cymothoida subordeneko isopodo familia bat da. Itsasoan zein ur-gezan aurki daitezke. Cymotohidae familiako izakiak ektoparasitoak dira, gehienetan arrainenak. Ordezkari ezagun bat Cymothoa exigua da, ostalariaren mihira lotu eta hau deuseztatzen duena, azkenean arrainaren mihia bera ordezkatuz[1]. Ceratothoa oestroides Mediterraneoko arrainen artean suntsiketarik handiena eragiten duen ektoparasitoa da.
