Petro-Aŭgusto Adeo (1767-1848) estis franca kemiisto, politikisto, ekspluatisto, urbestro de Nièvre, franca diplomato en Usono, kuracisto kaj reganta doktoro en la Fakultato pri Medicino de la Universitato de Parizo, asistanto de Antono Lavoaziero[1] kaj kunlaboranto de Jean-Henri Hassenfratz (1755-1827)[2], profesoro pri fiziko en la Politeknika Lernejo de Francio.
Biografio
Li laboris kun Lavoaziero rilate al la nova sistemo pri kemia notacio kaj estis kunfondinto kaj sekretario de la scienca periodaĵo "Annales de chimie"[3], fondita en 1789. Li elmontris ke la glacia acetata acido kaj vinagro estis la sama substancoj. Li estis sekretario de Jean Dalbarade (1743-1819)[4], franca Ministro de la mararmeo kaj kolonioj. En septembro 1796, li sendis Viktor Koloo (1750-1805) al agnoska ekspedicio en la Riveroj Ohajo kaj Misisipo. En la 25-a de decembro 1799 li estis nomumita membro de la franca Tribunato[5][6]. Li elstariĝis ĉefe rilate al la konservado de sklaveco kaj trafiko, konsiderante necesajn la francajn koloniojn por la uzo de la nigruloj mem.
