Aldone al liaj libroj, Morgenthau verkis amplekse pri internacia politiko kaj precize pri usona eksterlanda politiko por publikaĵoj de ĝenerala cirkulado kiel The New Leader, Commentary, Worldview, The New York Review of Books, kaj The New Republic.
