Sir Daniel Michael Blake DAY-LEWIS naskiĝis la  29-an de aprilo 1957 en Londono, estas brita aktoro kaj ekde 1993 irlandano. Li formiĝis en Bristol Old Vic kaj estas konata pro profundaj studoj pri la siaj roloj.[1][2] Li estas unu el la plej elektemaj aktoroj el la industrio ĉar apenaŭ rolis en 5 filmoj ekde 1998 kun spacoj de 5 jaroj inter ili.
