ভূমি
ভূমি, কখনো কখনো শুষ্ক ভূমি বলে চিহ্নিত করা হয়, হচ্ছে পৃথিবীর কঠিন বহিরাবরণ যা স্থায়ীভাবে পানিতে নিমজ্জিত হয় না।[1] মানবজাতির প্রায় সকল প্রকার কর্মকান্ডই ভূমিতে সংগঠিত হয় যা কৃষি, বসতি এবং বিভিন্ন প্রকার প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদের দ্বারা সহায়তা করে।
