পাকিস্তানে ইসলাম
ইসলাম ইসলামী প্রজাতন্ত্রী পাকিস্তান এর বৃহত্তম এবং রাষ্ট্র ধর্ম। পাকিস্তানের মোট জনসংখ্যা প্রায় ২২ কোটি। [1] এই জনসংখ্যার সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ অংশ(৯৫-৯৭%) মুসলিম; এছাড়াও এখানে খ্রিষ্টান, হিন্দু এবং অন্যান্য ধর্মাবলম্বী মানুষ বসবাস করে যাদের অনুপাত শতকরা ৩-৫%।[2] মুসলিমদের মধ্যে অধিকাংশই সুন্নি মুসলমান এবং ৫-২০% শিয়া মুসলিম।[2][3][4][5] দেশটির মুসলিম জনসংখ্যার মধ্যে প্রায় ২.২% আহমাদিয়া মতবাদের অনুসারী।[6] ইরানের পরে পাকিস্তানে দ্বিতীয় সর্বাধিক শিয়া মুসলিম বসবাস করে, এখানে সর্বনিম্ন ১৬.৫ মিলিয়ন থেকে সর্বোচ্চ ৩০ মিলিয়ন শিয়া মুসলিমের বসবাস আবাস।[7]

ফয়সাল মসজিদ, ইসলামাবাদ, এটি পাকিস্তানের বৃহত্তম এবং বিশ্বের অন্যতম বৃহত্তম একটি মসজিদ। সৌদি বাদশাহ ফয়সাল এই মসজিদ নির্মাণে সাহায্য করেন।

- The 1998 Pakistani census states that there are 291,000 (0.22%) Ahmadis in Pakistan. However, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has boycotted the census since 1974 which renders official Pakistani figures to be inaccurate. Independent groups have estimated the Pakistani Ahmadiyya population to be somewhere between 2 million and 5 million Ahmadis.
