প্শ্চিমবঙ্গ বিধানসভা নির্বাচন, ২০০৬ এ, [13] আরএসপি এর ক্ষিতিমোহন গোস্বামী তার নিকটতম প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের সৌগত রায়কে পরাজিত করে আসনে জয়ী হয়। তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের সৌগত রায় আরএসপির ক্ষিতিমোহন গোস্বামীকে ২০০১ সালে পরাজিত করে[12] আরএসপির-এর ক্ষিতি গোস্বামী ১৯৯৬ সালে কংগ্রেসের সুখেন্দু শেখর রায়কে [11] এবং ১৯৯১ সালে স্বতন্ত্র যতীন চক্রবর্তীকে [10] আরএসপির যতীন চক্রবর্তী ১৯৮৭ সালে কংগ্রেসের শঙ্কর কান্তি ভৌমিককে, [9] ১৯৮২ সালে কংগ্রেসের তুষার কান্তি দাশগুপ্তকে [14] এবং ১৯৭৭ সালে কংগ্রেসের অরবিন্দ প্রসাদ দাশগুপ্তকে [7] [15]
